I've got to admit, I'm really loving cow. I think the use of ideas, colours and materials instantly attract people to it, i think it is appealing to a wide range of ages too Also really surprised at how many comments and things were added to the interactive pieces, I was really impressed!
Visual Dialogues is a Tate Galleries project which will be run in partnership with Graves Art Gallery and Sheffield Youth Arts Forum, as well as other regional galleries. The purpose of the project is to develop creative interpretations in order to engage audiences with hisorical works in the collection. Graves Art Gallery will host a small selection of contemporary work from the Tate collection to faciltate the creation of the interactives.
The work that has been borrowed from the Tate is Butterfly Catchers by Hannah Starkey, Self-Portrait As A Business Man by Pawel Althamer and Boats by Bethan Huws.
